Jharett brings a wealth of hands-on experience and academic knowledge to his role. He grew up south of Highmore, South Dakota, on a diverse family farm that cultivated a variety of grains, including corn, soybean, spring wheat, winter wheat, and sunflowers. Additionally, the farm was once involved in a cow/calf operation, providing Jharett with a comprehensive understanding of both crop and livestock farming.

From an early age, Jharett developed a passion for agriculture, deeply appreciating the hard work and dedication required in this field. His commitment to agriculture led him to pursue higher education at South Dakota State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business, with a minor in Agricultural Marketing. During his time at the university, Jharett also excelled in athletics, playing football for five years and contributing to two national championship teams. This experience instilled in him the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

Jharett is enthusiastic about joining Hurley and Associates, an organization he admires for its team-oriented approach and unwavering commitment to the core values that resonate with the family farms it serves. He looks forward to leveraging his background and skills to support and enhance the agricultural success of the clients he will be working with.
