Tessa grew up in Barnesville, MN where she was raised in a community that helped foster her passion for all things agriculture. Tessa attended South Dakota State University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in animal science as well as a minor in agri-business marketing. During her time at SDSU, Tessa was a member of the SDSU Livestock Judging Team, The Jackrabbit Memorial Livestock Show, SDSU Block & Bridle Club, and the SDSU Little International which allowed her valuable skills and experiences to which she accredits much of her personal growth and development. Tessa finds great value in the commitment Hurley and Associates has made to serve the farmer and maintain the dignity of the farm family. She greatly looks forward to continuing their strong tradition. In her free time, you can find Tessa at a livestock show with her family, cheering on the Jackrabbits, or giving back to her community by coaching the local livestock judging teams.
